the weather in our own carnforth this week has been nothing but terrible, with torrential rain and howling wind residents have been stuck indoors sheltering all week.
The rain has also spread from neighbouring village, bolton-le-sands where residents have complained that rain has stunted vegitable growth.

Carnforth's newest local store, mighty bites opened last week where the old post office once was. The shop offers a wide range of fresh and cooked food as well as groceries and daily specials. (red bull slush, yum!) It's well worth a visit and could easily become your local choice.
